Needless to say, I'm useless at keeping blogs/news up to date.
A lot has happened in 10 years- I qualified as an electrician, then moved on to become a GPS Engineer and travelled the world playing with atomic clocks, satellite signals and other secret things. Started a small business (Ruffitt Design), took up photography and illustration. Dated various vegans. Travelled with work some more and became very burnt out. Took up rock climbing and bouldering. Tried (and failed) to buy a house in the UK market several times. Dealt with shitty management during the Covid-19 Pandemic, burn-out gets worse. I decided to throw in the towel, quit my job, and now I'm heading to the University of the West of England (UWE Bristol) in September to study something I've always wanted to do- Architecture and Environmental Engineering.
In preparation for Uni, I've started to learn Blender and Unity... and now I'm producing games as a well to polish my skills in those programs, as well as a way to hopefully make some money whilst I'm studying.
I've been making games and learning C# for 2 weeks now, and the last 7 days of which I've taken part in a 7-day game jam (my first Jam with my first ever game SATELLITE HUNTER ).
Although I've done my best to create everything from scratch during the 7 days, I had to return to NewGrounds to pick up some old music I had made years ago...
Wish me luck, see you in another 10 years!
